War in Halakha (en)

(5785) (Tuesday) "When you are at war in your land... you will be remembered before your God Hashem and you will be delivered from your enemies." From this understanding that sees Israel's wars as God's wars, we will try to delve into the scholarly and halakhic issues related to the laws of war. These laws of war are unique from the rest of the laws of the Torah, given there are no well-defined and orderly laws on this subject. In the current series, we will try to present the issues before the student in the hope that these things will be useful both for the study of Torah and for a deeper understanding of the importance of the morality of war, the purity of the intention of the warrior and the righteousness of war when it is indeed necessary.
